The conversion and transformation of my heart and mind to Christ is a moment by moment process of letting go of my self-centered thoughts and replacing them with God focused thoughts. As I become fully conscious and aware of Christ living in me, I mindfully release the control of my self-conscious way of life back to God. I am mindful the resurrected Christ is now the center of my life.

It is the practice and discipline of being fully aware I am aware of Christ’s presence living in me the moment I wake up in the morning; get out of bed and as I live throughout my day.  Acts 17:28 declares, “For in Him we live and have our being.” I live and breathe not in my power or strength but in His power and strength. Every breath I take and the next breath I take is a gift from God.

I make it a point to be aware of His presence no matter the people I am around or what I am doing moment by moment. I experience the fullness of life when I experience the fullness of Christ. I am aware of my thoughts and the content of those thoughts casting aside and releasing the thoughts that center on my will and not the Fathers’ will. I take every thought captive to make it obedient to Christ as the apostle Paul proclaims in 2 Corinthians 10:5.

Practice the presence of Christ today by taking the time to stop a few times for a moment to reflect on what is going on in your feelings and thoughts. Before you go back to your routine each time pray and be mindful, “I live and breathe, and my being exists in you!”
