Blessed are the peacemakers.

“The events in the world today have the power to paralyze us with feelings of intense sorrow and even anger for those involved in the senseless violence we see from our brothers and sisters.
Lord, help us remember we are called to be peacemakers and resist the temptation of letting the darkness make us victims too by choosing sides.”

Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.
