I see so many of my followers struggling to have a vibrant relationship with me. Once receiving my grace, they want to believe they will not be negatively impacted by circumstances in their lives and will be immune from suffering. Somehow, they must learn how to break open and blossom in life with my help during those difficult times. (We are all Broken, and that’s Alright)
Once they are aware of my salvation there is often a disturbing question, they ask themselves is this all there is to life. Is there more to the Christian walk than what I am experiencing? However, instead of seeking more in-depth answers to the mystery of life they live day-to-day in a self-imposed cocoon never going beyond the safe world they try to create of what they desire and what they think is best for them. (Being Aware of Gods presence in your Life)
There is no safe or risk-free existence in this world. Spiritual growth occurs when you face calamity, suffer loss and choose to meet the challenges of life by making tough decisions which help transform you from the inside out. So many spend their lives trying to avoid the hardships they encounter in life and become bitter when things don’t work out the way they expected.
Don’t be afraid when things don’t work out, and you are at a crossroad, and you want to play it safe. Let me help you face your fears and accept what is happening in your life. The cross is the symbol of a turning point where you can no longer play it safe but must risk everything to find life worth living. In your darkest hours let your brokenness lead you into the fullness of my presence in your life. You experience the fullness of life when you dare to turn and face what needs to change and stop trying to avoid suffering. Learn to give thanks in every circumstance and my presence will help carry you through every troubling step as you break open and blossom in life.
Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; Romans 5:3 NIV
The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. John 10:10 NIV
give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 5:18 NIV
