There are times when you barely have a clue to what should I do? You ask yourself, should I quit my job, or should I end a lifelong relationship? Tough decisions that negatively impact your emotional health and well-being. You pause and weigh the problem over and over in your frazzled mind. You think of the possible outcomes ranging from renewed hope to total disaster. You realize any decision never affects you alone in a vacuum, but everyone else in your life too.
I hope you know I want the best possible outcome for you. I caution you if you don’t sense my peace be careful making a hasty decision without seeking competent counsel through my word and the wisdom of others. You must, however, be willing to risk making the changes needed to get out of the rut you are currently facing in your life. (When Life Falls Apart)
With my help, leaning on my strength, your decision can be based not in fear but faith and hope. You must study my word and contemplate in your heart what I would do in your situation. King Solomon’s words of wisdom in the Proverbs provide answers about how to deal and cope with about every situation in life. Also, listen to the godly counsel of friends and family who want to support and encourage you.
With my help, you will be able to make a thought-out decision. The paralysis of not being able to decide keeps your life in constant turmoil and bondage. Most things won’t get better by waiting until tomorrow. Once you make your choice do your best to move ahead and not waiver. If you find it was the wrong decision, don’t beat yourself up and be your worst enemy. You did the best you could do with the information you had at the time. (You are Your Own Worst Enemy)
Don’t slide into a deeper rut. Pick yourself up again and let my grace and love help you forgive yourself and all the others involved and move on. What should I do? Do your best to make a godly decision over and over till you discover the answer you need. That is what my grace and love are all about in your life.
In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus: Philippians 2:5 NIV
But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. Such a person is double-minded and unstable in all they do. James 1:6-8 NIV
