Lord thank you that I can approach you and know you without any fear in my heart. In the depths of my soul, you have revealed yourself as both the Creator and Heavenly Father and have communicated your desire for an intimate relationship with me. You show your nature and character to me when I gaze upon your Son’s face; I trust and know you love me. (Bread of Heaven) Your Holy Spirit dwells within me and leads and guides me into becoming like you.
Lord, I understand your plan to transform me into your image and that you are actively involved in my life. You are Emmanuel God with us, and your divine purpose is to bring many sons and daughters into the fullness and glory of your kingdom.
Your goal is far more than saving us from our sins but transforming us moment by moment into your glory and likeness. Everything that happens in our life from the first chirps of the birds in the morning to the joys and pains that we encounter every day of our lives you are involved moment by moment.
We comprehend the promise you are walking with us and are concerned about every detail of our life. When we’re suffering or facing death and question whether or not we can make it you embrace us with your love and wrap your arms around us.
You are continually helping us, loving us, sustaining us and perfecting us into your image. We know through every struggle and trial we have an eternal hope and eternal destiny, and we are never alone. (Alone but not Lonely) You call us into fellowship to be one with you so that we no longer feel disconnected from anything in all of creation. We no longer feel lonely because we possess your spirit in abundance.
Thank you that you’re doing a maturing work within us, reconciling and restoring us to the relationship you ordained from the very beginning of time. Also, thank you for the wonderful promise we will walk with you, talk with you and reign with you from this day forward and forever.
