Healing For Your Wounded Heart

Healing For Your Wounded Heart December 11, 2018

In your brokenness, you seek healing for your wounded heart. You ponder for hours on end why loved ones seem to take pleasure in attacking and hurting you. It’s natural to react negatively but don’t let their actions cause you to seethe with anger and resentful. Don’t allow being wounded to change the identity of who I created you to be.

You suffer at the hands of those you trusted, and it impacts how you think about yourself. You remain trapped in the past and can’t let go of the pain you experience. You feel defeated, and it’s a struggle to move forward, and you have become cynical and bitter. You mull over and over in your mind how life has been unfair to you, and you blame others and even me for letting this happen to you. (Don’t let Anyone Hold you Hostage)

I understand the depths of your feelings for I also was misunderstood and rejected. I came into the world to love and forgive you. You want people to love you unconditionally as only I can love you. If you’re honest, you recognize you are guilty of hurting the ones you love and care for in your life too.

Your healing involves moving beyond the hurt and pain others have committed against you and acknowledging in your heart the truth you can be just like them. Everyone needs my love poured out on them and to put my unconditional love into action to forgive and release those who have hurt us. Love is the only thing that can repair the wounded soul. Let my love which goes beyond man’s ability transform you from the inside out. Focus on my love and let the bitterness and hate go and come alive again.

My love is freely given to you as you receive my love freely give it to others and experience restored hope in your life. Let my love fill in the broken cracks of your heart. There is healing for your wounded heart.

Scriptures:

Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you. Ephesians 4:31-32 NIV

and forgive us our sins, as we have forgiven those who sin against us. Mathew 6:12 NLT
