Magical Astrology Report Week of August 19-25, 2019

Weekly Overview

This week will carry over the creative energies from last week but will force us to ground our plans, hopes, and dreams into reality in a way that is practical and meaningful. Mars has just moved into Virgo, Venus will do the same on Wednesday, and the Sun will follow suit on Friday. We have had days of internal processing and value checking, now is the time for us to put all of that new wisdom to good use.

In general, this week will be a good week to work with your lower three chakras (the Root, Sacral, and Solar Plexus) or the Primal Soul, as those are the centers of energy that are most likely to come into contact with astrological interference. Your Crown Chakra will also need a good check-in closer to Friday. Apatite, Carnelian, Lapis-Lazuli, Malachite, and Rhodonite are all excellent stones to work with this week. Sex magic, ceremonial magic, and all workings related to Road Opening should all go off without a hitch.

Monday (August 19)

You might notice your attention being slit or that it is hard to focus on work-related tasks while your mind floats off into the realm of daydreams. Do yourself a favor and make a list, check it twice, and keep your eye on the prize. Think about the fun stuff after you have reached your goal; you will thank me later! With the Moon in Aries making a Grand Fire Trine and Saturn up to a tight Square, this is a day for you to show the world what you are made of. Speak from the Heart and Brow Chakras and work with stones like Bismuth, Smoky Quartz, and Wulfenite. Great day for protection and creativity magic.

Tuesday (August 20)

There is a possibility that the day is going to start off rough (with the Moon still in Aries), but there should be midday shift for the better. You might have to make your positive attitude today, but luckily it will be infectious, so don’t be afraid to share a smile or hold the door. It is an excellent day to speak from the Crown Chakra and to keep stones like Calcite, Tourmaline, and Zoisite close. Magic for breakthroughs and redemption will happen with ease at this time.

Wednesday (August 21)

There is a lot of stirring in the cosmos today, and it would be wise to take advantage of it! You have two choices; keep doing what you have been doing and get the usual results, or accept a challenge that spirit brings to your doorstep and change everything. This is especially true for all things Love and Finances. You get to choose comfort or action, but you cannot have both. Look around you; what needs a shift? Now is your opportunity. Speak from the Heart and Root Chakras today and work with stones like Angel Aura Quartz, Bloodstone, Kyanite, and Green Tourmaline. An excellent day for prosperity workings as well as magic related to divination.

Thursday (August 22)

The Moon is in Taurus along with Pluto and Saturn, making this a particularly “not-so-magical feeling” kind of day. If you were 90’s Sabrina, today would be the episode where every spell you cast results in pineapples. The trick is going to be to carry that momentum from the week and to think super practical. What are the tangible steps that need to be made in order for your magic, dreams, hopes, etc. to manifest? Sort those things out today and get the mundane plan sorted out. Speak from your Root, Heart, and Brow Chakras to avoid conflict and work with stones like Hematite, Tiger’s Eye, or Rhodochrosite. Do an uncrossing or cleansing.

Friday (August 23)

Just like Monday, today is going to be one of those days where you might easily get lost in thought. Make a list and be its boss! With the Moon in Gemini and the Sun moving into Virgo, joining Venus and Mars; it is an excellent time to bring the focus inward and think of yourself for a change. Eat some chocolate, make some love, and dance your butt off; just be sure to finish everything on that list first. It is OK to permit yourself to be self-reliant today. Speak from the Brow, Throat, and Solar Plexus Chakras and work with stones such as Hiddenite, Topaz, and Clear Quartz to make this the best day possible. Perform magic for love, sex, attraction, and clarity with ease.

Saturday (August 24)

Mars and Venus are conjunct today, giving us a unique opportunity to discover what we want and how exactly we are going to get it. This whole week might have felt like all work and no play, but today will lead to insight that makes all the hard work feel like it is going to pay off. It is a great day for big magic and big miracles, so don’t be afraid to speak your truth and ask for what you need. Allow yourself to be governed by the Sacral and Heart Chakras and to make the most out of the day by working with stones such as Aragonite, Azurite, Hemerophyte, or Ruby. Magic for road opening, prosperity, and healing are all ideal at this time.

Sunday (August 25)

This is a very lunar-driven Sunday, so expect to have lots of feels and to be able to get out of your head finally. Don’t get me wrong, there will still be plenty to think about, but the invitation now is to ponder on the things that bring you a sense of fulfillment and how they fit into your current life. You might reminisce, get nostalgic, possibly even break out Gramma’s cookie recipe just for the fun of it. Do all the things and give yourself this much-needed break. Today is definitely a day for rest and relaxation. Speak from the Heart Chakra and work with stones such as Aquamarine, Morganite, Topaz, or Sapphire. An excellent day for cleansing, friendship, and healing magic.
