Sitting with circle of clergy and other religious leaders. A professional sociologist in the group when prompted about what she taught prior to retirement said “I taught people who wanted to make films how to do research so they don’t just bullshit people.” 
I want full credit for not saying “unlike many of us at this table…”

Okay, okay.

These are genuinely wonderful folk. The ones willing to talk across faiths.

Sitting with them makes me think religion has a chance of being more for good than for ill…
