The Venerable Ajahn Chah Subhaddo (Chao Khun Bodhinyana Thera) was born on this day in 1918. Ajahn Chah was a Thai Forest tradition meditation master and one of the most important figures in establishing a Theravadan Buddhist presence in the West.
