It was an absolute delight to see that Josh Bartok’s lasted anthology, Daily Doses of Wisdom: A Year of Buddhist Inspiration has thirteen separate quotes from my various writings.
Kate Wheeler blurbs the book as “100% organic healing dharma.” Not completely sure what that means, but I think she likes it. Melvin McLeod writes of the book and its quotes as “a simple yet powerful way to contemplate Buddhism’s great wisdom.” And I agree.
No doubt, setting aside the wisdom of having so many quotes from me, Daily Doses of Wisdom does have a lot of good stuff…
In the book I’m surrounded by quotes from the likes of Ajahn Brahm, the Dalai Lama, Ruben Habito, Shodo Harada, Barry Magid, Susan Murphy, John Tarrant, Jeff Wilson & Lama Zopa. Feels good to be in such company.
Bows to the three treasures and, for good measure, to the great prajna paramita heart sutra…
