His Holiness Pope Shenouda III has died. Nazeer Gayed was born on the 3rd of August, 1923. Over at one of the blogs I like to read there’s some reflecting going on about whether to move to a host that will provide some support but who also have advertising. Last evening’s memorial service at the edge of the river down from the church was quite moving. Maybe a hundred students, staff & faculty from the school. Cynthia’s all too brief life, her talent as an artist, her attention and grace and dignity all celebrated. Her one terrible decision not ignored.
