prayer from the cell: in out

I must tell you it is still a very strange feeling not “going” to church. I know I know. I don’t know how many times I’ve heard you don’t “go” to church, you “be” the church. Ya. That makes sense on one level, such as I am a part of the Hayward family. However, it’s really nice to get together with a clump of other parts of the Hayward family. You get my meaning. There should be something very special, sacred, and I dare say important, about the gathered community, the sangha, the congregation, the people. This is something my blog tends to focus on: how several of us can gather in healthy ways. One of the major problems, as I see it, is that it is rare to see these “healthy ways” I concern myself with.
