cartoon: finance

True story! I am enjoying my life. Lisa and I haven’t been this lighthearted in a long time. Today is Canada’s birthday, so last night we went to Saint John’s boardwalk for some of the celebrations. We enjoyed a couple of bands, had a drink, ran into many people we know, and laughed together. A great time.

I’m enjoying what I’m doing: cartooning every day, painting, writing, blogging, meeting with people to chat. My severance runs out the end of July. So… true story… I need to figure out a way to finance what I enjoy doing.

The one thing I miss is public teaching. I would like to do that again. We’ll see.
