Everyone has the right to their own opinion. In free nations this is recognized and respected by law. This right is called “inalienable” because of this reason. It is unable to be taken away from or given away by the possessor. Ever.
I appreciate that. So should you.
The problem begins when we claim or insist attitudinally or vocally that others possess our opinion. This is called fundamentalism.
This is something that I am deeply concerned with. I want to understand this phenomenon. I think it is crucially important to our future.
QUESTION: How can we respect the fundamentalist’s inalienable rights but not his inevitable agenda?
