a testimony: a reason I blog

This was written to me by someone who reads nakedpastor. I thought I would share it with you. I get several similar testimonies a week, which I find very inspiring, encouraging and motivating. I write the blog for myself primarily, but I’m glad it benefits others as well:

I remember when I first stumbled upon your blog. It was about 2 1/2 years ago. It went against most everything I was taught. I was mad at first, but then I kept on reading and laughing at your cartoons over time. Then the struggle within myself to break free from the religion began,,, then I escaped the cult I was in (I’m not using that term lightly either, I mean cult straight up!) then it took me some time to admit what I was apart of, then some more anger, then lots of pain, and now… well, lets just say I”M FREEEEEEE BABY!!! My self confidence is returning slowly, day by day. Thank you for being you David, you help others find themselves, as God would have them be. Amy (used with permission)
