how to walk to church

I drew and posted this cartoon over 5 years ago. At the time I was overwhelmed and angry because I’d heard from so many people that unquestioning obedience is a requirement at their church. This isn’t the experience of everyone, but it is of very many. It had been mine off and on over the years.

So take some advice: when you catch yourself marching the goose step (spiritually speaking), it’s time to go AWOL.
