Since you won’t allow me direct light, I will accept the indirect light of the moon.

I can’t see clearly. But you won’t seem to allow me to either.

That’s okay. I’ll abide. And be beautiful besides.

I’ll wait until the light shines bright on the path.

Until then I will walk tentatively, but sure that you won’t let me wander too far off.

I’m at peace in this: I will reach my goal.
