If you haven’t seen the film The Master, I recommend you do. It very cleverly exposes the tight control charismatic leaders can have on their people, and how they can react with emotional violence when questioned.

Heck, I didn’t have to watch a movie to understand this dynamic or know it first hand. I’ve seen it many times.

Here’s a clue: when you ask a question and it gets an emotionally aggressive response, that is a sign you have struck a nerve close to the heart of the problem.
