My eighteen year old son Jesse (left) and his friend Ross (right, duh!), grabbed a smoke before we took off to see “300”, the new movie about the Spartans. Jesse is an awesome drummer! Just some random thoughts: I love my wife Lisa and our three incredible kids, 20, 18, 14. (One son loves God doesn’t like church. I went to a conference this weekend. It was on ministry to the poor. It was okay. I always dread going to these things and my conclusions about such events are usually critical. But I really enjoy the chats I have with other people. I want to emphasize that I really don’t care about titles at all. They are just labels. But we all must admit that labels and titles must necessarily point to a reality.
