The Covenant of Unitarian Universalist Pagans (CUUPS) is an organization dedicated to networking Pagan identified UU’s, educating people about Paganism, pormoting interfaith dialogue, developing Pagan liturgies and theologies, and supporting Pagan identified UU religious professionals.
During the last half of September through the first week of October CUUPS held its annual elections for board members and organizational statements of support. As a democratically run Pagan, earth and nature centered organization and in accordance with the 5th Principle of UUism, CUUPS members voted with “The right of conscience and the use of the democratic process within our organizations and in society at large.”
The members of CUUPS voted and stand in solidarity with the Unitarian Universalist Association for the adoption of organizational statements on the following:
To view these statements voted on by CUUPS members in their entirety go to the CUUPS Resolutions Page on our website.
New members of the Board of Trustees were also voted on. Those being added to the board are: Angela Brown as VP for Development; Catharine Clarenbach as VP of Ministerial Relations; Debra Gilbert as Secretary; and Peter Dybing as VP for Membership.
The CUUPS Board of Trustees thanks Joe Wolfarth and Rebecca Crystal for their tireless and strong commitment over their years of service. Their work is so appreciated and honored.
The Board thanks all of the members who took the time to vote and speak their conscience. Member commitment to the organization is honored.
