Do you pass up those old books when you go junkin’? Think again with this easy Knock off.
Those bundled books – they make me swoon – but not enough for hand over $20 – 30 bucks a bundle! I’ve seen these at Ballard Designs as well as Restoration Hardware.
Here’s a neat trick to get this similar look for a fraction of the cost.
I went to my local Goodwill and found these AWESOME books.
I went straight for the clearance bin and made sure to grab any old book.
My total cost was $2.25!!
I absolutely LOVED the old inscriptions left from the previous owners from the 40’s!
This is so easy to recreate. Just tear off the old covers…gently. Wrap in twine and Ta-Da!
I added a little embellishment for my own personal touch.
Now they sit on my shelves, looking pretty!
