A lot of blockbuster films are released for the holidays. My family has incorporated going to a show or watching films at home into our Thanksgiving tradition. Last night my husband and I watched Cowboys and Aliens. My mom, grandma, and I want to see the new Muppet movie this weekend.

A Dangerous Method explores the relationship of psychiatrist Carl Jung, his mentor Sigmund Freud and Sabina Spielrein, a beautiful disturbed young woman. Carl Jung’s work is often read and used by members of the Pagan and Occult community. He wrote much on archetypes, dreams, alchemy and much more so I hope to catch this movie when it’s out on DVD.
Theaters will be crowded so here are a few tips. Call ahead to make sure the film you want to see is accessible to the Deaf or Blind. Next, request a showing with closed captioning or make sure the theater has an audio guide for the blind. Buy your tickets on-line or by phone. You can avoid extra fees by purchasing tickets early at the theater. For those of us with anxiety or emotional issues, attend a matinee or wait until the movie has been playing for a while.
