A Letter To Santa

A Letter To Santa 2016-05-31T11:42:11-05:00

Dear Santa,

You are the archetype of joy, peace, inner light, and giving which are ideals shared by religions across the world this season so you are the best person to write to.

This Yule I’m not asking for any jewelry, candles, or fancy priestess clothes. Instead I have one important wish for the magical community.

When groups gather they will pre-plan for possible attendees who have a disability or are part of the Deaf community. Those with mobility and pain issue need to have time to sit during the ritual. They may not be able to dance and stand for a long time. Members of the Deaf community will need presenters to face them so they can read lips. Some members may have trouble with transportation. Perhaps members can take turns picking them up. Give people who are disabled or in the Deaf community the courage to speak up about what they need and groups the consciousness to listen. Instead of saying, “we can’t” groups need to say “we can” and dig deep into their hearts and pockets to make it happen.

Blessed Yule,

Tara “Masery” Miller
