When I made this mix we’d been listening to the first two cd’s for quite awhile. Nick was starting to try and sing along and S. Soul had put out another record and he was starting to sing along with that as well (off pitch by the way – totally bugging his dad). So then I made a disk that would be pretty strong on melody. This is my alt-country mix. It’s also when I started naming mixes. I also ended up giving this mix as presents to friends & family for x.mas – it got good reviews. How could it not – Wilco, Cash, Old 97’s…He sings really loud w/Lucinda, Wilco, and especially on Ring of Fire & Hard to Handle.
