I hope things are okay w/Stephen Colbert. They cancelled his show last night at the last minute last night saying, “Due to unforeseen circumstances, the show will air repeat episodes on Wednesday, February 15 and Thursday, February 16.”
This has never happened before with Colbert’s show and the only similar instance w/The Daily show was a death in the show family… I hope it’s not something terrible happening, but a few folks I know who are in the city have been sending out tweets that seem a little dubious.
I’ve been writing a fair amount about the Daily Show & Colbert Report, both on Paperback Theology and at The Huffington Post. I think their satire could possibly be moving the political spectrum. I enjoy and appreciate the role of the satirist in society and I think Colbert is one of the best…
