Glenn Beck-land / Libertypendance Park – More Friday Funny

I am not a Glenn Beck follower myself, so I knew nothing about this until I saw this video which is, whatever you think about Beck, hilarious. So, I watched these segments from Beck’s show in which he walks the viewer through the plans he’s developed in his American Dream Labs for a full scale city complete with it’s own theme park and working ranch. The planned community is to be called Independence U.S.A. – a sort of a libertarian utopia – and comes in at a hefty 2 billion dollars. It’s hard to tell if this is all just poppy-cock or if he’s really going to sink some of his bijillions he’s made into the idea (which will most certainly fail). He’s clearly spent a lot of money already, coming up with 3D animation of the city and drawings of some of the buildings.

This video was produced by someone named Brian Sack, who apparently has a show that airs on Beck’s own online channel The Blaze. It’s pretty good satire – you have to listen carefully to the words – certainly worthy of a Friday Funny.
