Saturday on the Advent Links

I need to be up and in the car, looking for oranges and some other stuff, and then cleaning my house, and then just generally trying to pull all our lives into order. Tomorrow is St. Nicholas day, of course, and the bishop will be coming and that means I can’t be lying here letting the minutes slip away.

And so is Cat Hodge. This is the one I read in the middle of the night and then had a weird and terrible dream about Christmas shopping and everybody hating my book even though it isn’t out yet and then the shopping turned into a kitchen which turned into a church. The post is really good, thought! And totally Advent!

And if your prayer life is suffering, as in you aren’t even praying because you have too much stuff to do, you can just listen to these nice people praying instead of you and maybe you can try praying along.

And that’s all there is today, there isn’t any more, because I have to climb down off the internet now and move on with real life or the world will come crashing down around my ears. Have a lovely, if very gray, Saturday!
