Saturday on the Holy Links

Saturday on the Holy Links March 19, 2016

Actually, most of these links have nothing to do with Holy Week and so are Not Holy. And, there aren’t very many of them because, as usual, I was busy being a good person doing Important Work all week and Not Reading the Internet. Part of the important work was reading a hefty portion of Winnie the Pooh.

First up, here is the very second Preventing Grace Podcast, this time, all about Holy Week and why it’s OK for Protestants to indulge in such a dubious enterprise. We answer the important questions of Why Bother, and Why have liturgy at all, and What about the children (what about them, cough). Also, trying to figure out how to get myself onto iTunes. I will probably not have time to really think about it until after Easter.

And here is why women need more sleep than men, and that’s true Even In Holy Week.

And this is what I’ll be showing my children later to comfort them over how tragic English spelling is.

And, if you felt like celebrating Holy Week but didn’t know where to begin, Let Us Keep the Feast is a super good deal today.

And finally, got around to reading the Babylon Bee. So far, this is my favorite.

Oh wait! and here is the article I talked about in the podcast.

Hope you have a lovely Saturday. I am going to be very very busy, both now, and through the week. But I’m going to try to be happy about it, because of Jesus dying on the cross and what not.
