Saturday on the San Antonio Links

Saturday on the San Antonio Links

Couldn’t post this morning because of needing to rush down to the Pearl District so as to wander around the Farmer’s Market and then have lunch at La Gloria. Now that I’m stuffed with a whole little bubbling cauldron’s worth of toasted cheese and corn tortillas, and sucked down just one teensy margarita, I feel well equipped to deliver up all manner of links.

First up, of course, here’s our podcast in which we chatter along about Trump and Hillary, whether or not St. Paul would use Facebook, and the above mentioned La Gloria Restaurant. I can’t think of any reason at all why you would want to miss any of it.

Next up, I know it’s already made its way all around Facebook, but here is something really nice about someone becoming a Christian.

And here is something completely funny, and also here.

And here is something about Common Core which must be true because it confirms all my prejudicial closely held and unresearched opinions.

And even more important than all of that, Simcha, whom I have read for years and years, happened to read me. I won’t even try to be humble. My ego blew up like a big massive balloon, but then kind of deflated, because her piece is even better than mine. Still, in some essential way, I feel that I have Arrived.

And finally, here is something nice to cook that I hope to indulge in a little later this week.
