Happy Hogswatch Etc.

I have been trying to find my way to a chair all day and have finally succeeded. It all started far far too early at hand therapy–one of those kinds of early morning events that completely discombobulates the rest of the day. After that, instead of sensibly sitting down to podcast, we all got in the car to wander around town looking for a Christmas tree. As usual, we left this task until far too late and did not succeed in finding anything grand enough to suit the size of our majestic living room. After driving all over town and then sitting for half an hour by the side of the road arguing bitterly about what would be worse–an artificial tree or a little forest of real trees–I won, sort of, and the children are now decorating three medium-sized trees. Some of them are happy and some of them are insisting that Christmas is ruined forever.

So Anyway, I’ve made Matt cough up the most downloaded preventing grace episode as a little break from rehanging all my pictures now that I have rearranged the living room to accommodate my little forest. For real, this is going to be the best Christmas ever. Winning is my favorite.
