Try to Preach the Gospel Podcast and Links

A good morning to you all! It is raining, of course, and we have many more piles of stuff to move out of here, and some bats to rail against, but as a special treat we’ve done up a nice long podcast about the sermon we heard yesterday, what worship is not, how you should preach on the text, what Anglicans believe about real presence, and how I wrote a paper as a final project for a class that purported to be about math. I think it will set you up for a totally sparkly week.

Now, let me see, do I have any links? I know I ask every time but that’s because I never do actually know. But now that I consider the matter, I think we will do very well.

First up, here’s some terrible news.

Here’s a good piece about Jordan Peterson.

Here’s a case for eating meat and not mucking about with Huel.

Here’s something long about David Bently Hart mucking around with the resurrection.

Here’s  good advice from Esau if you’re an academic.

Here’s something that looks gorgeously delicious.

Here’s something gorgeously funny.

Here’s  something gorgeously beautiful.

Here is someone being lovely about my book.

And here is Tim saying more wonderfully what I was sort of trying to say last week.

And that’s all for now. Happy reading!
