A Universe From Nothing

Today as I drove from my home to Daddy Dee’s Ice cream shop, I heard something on PBS radio that I found so interesting that I had to blog about it. What I heard was an interview with an author who had written a book titled, “A Universe From Nothing.” Apparently, there are many physicists who hold to the notion that the universe just appeared and there is no evidence of a God or a Creator. According to this individual, he believes that the laws of physics dictate, “where ever there is nothing, something will appear.” Thus, he concluded, there is no God responsible for the creation of the universe.

As I have come to know Creation through seeing the various dimensions of time and space both in and beyond this world, I would say, if you wish to describe God, you must include everything in that description. In Prophet or Madman I wrote that in terms of “Ultimate Reality” God alone exists. By that, I did not mean that God is just that which can be realized solely by the physical senses. Moreover, it is the belief that God can only be accepted if empirical proof validates its’ existence that will keep the full experience of God at bay.

To quote one of the greatest physicists that I believe understood this, I would like you to consider some of his thinking from the following qoutes;

“I wish to know how God thinks the rest are details.”

Einstein also said,

“All religions, arts and sciences are branches of the same tree. All these aspirations are directed toward ennobling man’s life, lifting it from the sphere of mere physical existence and leading the individual towards freedom.” ALBERT EINSTEIN

TRUE and REAL freedom comes only through awakening to your authentic self. For those who may not fully realize what I am talking about, let me explain. What I mean by your Authentic Self, is that part of you which is not limited to or originated from the physical universe.

Just as the physical universe had an origin in a non physical reality, so it is with you. When it was said, “you were made in the image and likeness of God”, it was not meant to represent the physical body but rather, the formless state of Spirit.

One of the most interesting contentions I heard regarding how something came from nothing was, “when you combine ceratin laws of physics with dark matter something new appears.”

I believe, the question that everyone should consider is, if there is/was nothing, how does one explain gravity or the laws of physics that are now being used to explain how things come into form. Wouldn’t it be true, if nothing existed, there could be no energy, matter, dark matter, or even the laws of physics?

In reality, nothing can come from nothing but something can appear to have come into form from the formless. This is why when I described Creation in Prophet or Madman, I spoke of various dimensions of time and space and how they are interconnected.

As I see it, if science continues to explore quantum physics, there can be only one conclusion. God Alone Exists!

Regardless of your path or what religion you practice, if you wish to awaken yourself and live awakened in this world you may find yourself reinterpreting your view of reality itself!
