The Sony Animation/AFFIRM Films’ release The Star, an animated take on the Nativity story through the eyes of the animals, will release to DVD and Blu-Ray on Feb. 20 and digital outlets on Feb. 6. The film, which has earned more than $40 million and is the 12th highest grossing Christian movie, features the voices of Steven Yeun, Zachary Levi, Gina Rodriguez, Patricia Heaton, Aidy Bryant, Kristin Chenoweth, Keegan-Michael Key, Tracy Morgan, Tyler Perry and Oprah Winfrey. The theme song, “The Star,” performed by Mariah Carey and written by Mariah Carey & Marc Shaiman, received a Golden Globe nomination for Best Original Song.
