Join us as we explore the biblical vision for work and how our churches can communicate work as a vital part of discipleship.

Once the center of heavy industry, “the steel city” has overcome adversity brought by new technology, deindustrialization, and blue-collar jobs lost. Today with a transformed skyline, Pittsburgh has turned into a green, sustainable, and outdoor city boasting healthy job growth. But how do churches communicate the biblical vision of one’s work to their congregations? What does faith and work look like in this revitalized city?

Few things are as important to a Christian’s life and faith as work—whatever our career path. But local church leaders are often unprepared to disciple people into a rich vocational spiritual life. Redeeming Work offers both theological foundations and practical pastoral guidance to help change that.

Redeeming Work is designed for pastors and church leaders, but open to anyone interested in the intersection of faith and work. Marketplace leaders and ministries are invited to attend and join our conversation, too. Read more about why Leadership Journal is dedicating two years and six cities to Redeeming Work and what you can expect to gain from this event.
