I received an e-mail a few days ago saying that there is still room at a workshop the Wabash Center will be holding immediately prior to SBL in Atlanta. More information is available on the Wabash Center website.

Teaching The Bible in the Liberal Arts Curriculum
Atlanta, Georgia

P19-208
Friday, November 19
1:30 pm to 6:00 pm

This interactive workshop is designed to give participants an opportunity to work together and with the facilitators to investigate various theoretical and practical dimensions of teaching about the Bible in the context(s) of a Liberal Arts Curriculum. Specific focus will be on introductory courses. The workshop will encourage participants to think of ways in which their teaching can best be aligned with the broader goals for liberal learning articulated by departments, core curricula or distribution requirements, their institutions, and larger entities such as the American Association of Colleges and Universities.

Workshop Leaders:
Eugene Gallagher, Connecticut College
Davina Lopez, Eckerd College

There is no charge for the workshop but you MUST register in advance.

Space is limited.
