Since I posted my own review, other bloggers who have reviewed or blogged about the book include The Clever Badger, Otagosh, John Hobbins, and Eric Reitan.
Nick Norelli has also posted a review, which ends with the rather strange idea that, in order to appreciate or care about honesty, you have to believe in God. Is his point, I wonder, that since God is said in 2 Chronicles 18 to send a lying spirit to make prophets prophecy deceitfully, this might be what happened to some of the New Testament authors as well? I don’t get how honesty requires God in order to make sense, nor how one reaches that conclusion from the Bible. Honestly! 🙂
