An Appeal To The Biblioblogging Community

An Appeal To The Biblioblogging Community August 13, 2011

To the biblioblogging community,

As I will be hosting the Biblical Studies Carnival at the start of next month with its round-up of posts from this month, you might be expecting me to remind you of this fact and ask you to submit posts.

That is not why I am writing.

I am writing to let you know that, due to your impressive efforts this month, I have more than enough material for a Biblical Studies Carnival already.

I thus appeal to you to leave a comment here indicating whether you would agree to cease blogging about the Bible for the remainder of the month.

If you are willing to do so, then I can stop gathering posts and focus on other things. If you are not willing to do so, then I may have to create a two-part carnival, with one post featuring the first half of the month’s blogging, and then another one with the second half (and anything that you submit to me that I missed from the first half of the month).

Let me know which you prefer.

Sincerely,

This month’s host
