Of Course…Who Else? [Doctor Who: The Name of the Doctor SPOILER] May 18, 2013

Although there are some things that have not all been tied up (why didn't the Silence try to do something about this?), some loose ends and unanswered questions seem to have been wrapped up nicely. And one of them is the question of whom the Doctor saw in his room in the “hotel” in the episode “The God Complex.”

That’s one loose end that had to be tied up eventually, even implicitly. Glad they (possibly) got to it.

I’ve never heard of John Hurt, and looking through his filmography the only role I really remember is Garrick Ollivander in the Harry Potter movies. That list of credits looks mighty fine though, so a visit to the DVD shop might be in order!

He was excellent as Joseph Merrick in The Elephant Man, as Quentin Crisp in The Naked Civil Servant, and as Caligula in the BBC TV series I, Claudius.
