As the Society of Biblical Literature annual meeting approaches, blogging has had to take a back seat slightly to preparations for that. Apologies for the lull.
I also learned in the past few days that for most of the first part of the conference (Friday through Sunday) my Butler e-mail account will be unavailable, since they will be working on our mail servers and other Butler computers during that period.
If anyone wants to reach me during that period, they can do so through my Yahoo! e-mail address, which is jamesfrankmcgrath “petit escargot” yahoo.com.
In other news, I do want to share a link (HT Jim Davila) to a growing online database of Scriptural quotations in ancient Jewish literature. Also of local interest, tomorrow evening Rabbi Michael Cook will be speaking at the Jewish Community Center here in Indianapolis, on the topic “Modern Jews Engage the New Testament.”
