I saw this in a collection of “unmotivational” posters, and thought it was worth commenting on. While I personally will not punch anyone in the face, and wish to discourage others from doing so, I think this shows the problem with the trite statement that “it was/wasn’t meant to be.” It ignores the complexities of life and the reality that sometimes something clearly happened, or was prevented from happening, by the kind or unkind action of one or more other human...
