The Body of Christ has many expressions in a multitude of faces and places. God imparts Himself most often to us through one anothering. However, we must not depend solely on particular faces or places to give us everything we need. Humanity and systems will fail us from time to time, but God never fails us. Pray and fellowship in community while placing your faith in God, and not on what man or systems can provide. Read more

There is presently a revolution taking place among those on the leading edge of change in the Evangelical Church. The result is a transition from a church mindset to a kingdom mindset in which the walls of church buildings are no longer able to contain the raw creative energy of Christ-followers who are committed to preaching and applying the Gospel of the Kingdom to all the world, including its systems and structures. As political solutions and big government attempts to... Read more

When we have been wounded by the Church, our temptation is to reject all forms of gathering together. If we isolate ourselves from faith communities, we oppose God’s very desire and provision for us to grow. For example, the world is increasingly at risk for a nuclear event and war with Iran and/or Korea. Islamic terrorism continues to be a global menace. Seeing the Good! – On occasion I am asked by subscribers as to why I was publishing an article from a particular author. They were wondering if I knew what that author did or said in 1985, 1998, or even last week. Whether I did or did not know what this author might have said in 1985, or whenever, I would ask, “What does that have to do with the current article?” When we publish an article on our newsletter,... Read more

Saturday, December 4, 2010 Authoritative Wounding by Robert Ricciardelli People have been wounded deeply even in organizations that are meant to be a safe and restorative place. People in authority can wound others that look up to them by their words, attitudes, and demands. Because spiritual life is so significant in every seeker, the wounds can especially be damaging. Leaders must understand the damages caused by responding to other’s, when done outside of God’s love and compassion. Posted by Robert... Read more

Read more
