Some think of love as a feeling. Feelings of love is life-giving, but real love cannot be based on feelings. We may never learn to love well, if we wait on feelings of love. Genuine love comes from God and empowers us to think, speak, and act in loving ways to make that love known to the world. When we “do” love, even when others do not respond it, we will discover that our feelings catch up with our acts of love.
