Fully Alive

Irenaeus of Lyon wrote, “For the glory of God is the human person fully alive; and life consists in beholding God.” To be fully alive is to embrace the one who showed us full life–Jesus Christ. Sit in a quiet place and imagine what it would be like to be nearly dead, lying on your death bed, and then suddenly to be well and healthy because Jesus has come and healed you.
