False Prophet for Trump Delivers More Alt-Right Mined Prophecies

False Prophet for Trump Delivers More Alt-Right Mined Prophecies November 9, 2018

On Wednesday, the day after the midterm elections, I laid out how those who have turned giving false prophecy into a profitable scam were once again exposed, when instead of a “red tsunami” at the polls, we saw Congress divided.

As we all know by now, Democrats took back control of the House and Republicans clung by a hair to the Senate.

That was far from the overwhelming Republican victory “prophets” like Charlie Shamp and Mark Taylor had claimed God was promising.

Maybe because God is much less concerned about our politics than He is about our character and treatment of each other, and our faith in Him?

Still, men like Taylor have those who cling to their every word, swallowing every fabricated tale of prophetic insight, without question or discernment.

On Monday, one day before the election, Taylor, who saw his bank account expand with his book, “The Trump Prophecy,” did a call-in interview with Christian radio host and author, Eric Metaxas.

We already know of Taylor’s “red tsunami” flop, but in delivering that same failed prophecy to Metaxas’ listeners, he layered on the absurdity thick, giving so much more than simply election coverage.

It bears going back over, so we can watch him fail again. I will never tire of calling out these frauds, as I see them to be dangerous to the kingdom of God, leading many astray.

Repeating the claims he mines from the bowels of alt-right conspiracy sites, like InfoWars and QAnon, Taylor declared that liberal politicians, like Hillary Clinton and former President Barack Obama would soon face MAGA justice.

During the lengthy over the phone interview for “The Eric Metaxas Show,” Taylor said that in the near future, there will be military tribunals set up to try prominent liberal Democrat figures like Clinton and Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi.

“They will be charged with treason, including Barack Obama and they will go to prison,” said Taylor, adding that “I know it’s coming.”

He knows – not thinks, or even predicts – he knows.

But if the scam is to make the gullible, especially the gullible who like to think of themselves as Christian, but are happy to replace that with faith in Donald Trump, believe God is speaking to him, then he has to know.

The facts about Taylor are that he doesn’t really have a relationship with Christ. He doesn’t fellowship with other believers, because he has said that our churches are evil. He knows just enough, and is clever enough to use language that makes him seem like a believer and a “prophet,” but all of his prophecies come from the internet and what he plagiarizes from other so-called “prophets.”

His “red tsunami” prophecy was first spoken of by Charlie Shamp, five months ago on his website. Even the term “red tsunami” was first coined by Shamp.

And they were both wrong.

Taylor went on to tell Metaxas that he had predicted as far back as 2015 about the ultimate fate of the Clintons and Barack Obama, as far as the law finally catching up to them.

“People thought that meant being impeached, that’s not what that meant,” Taylor said. “That meant he would be charged with treason, in which case he gets ripped of the title of president.”

“They are going to go down. Bill Clinton will be charged with things. Hillary Clinton will be charged with things.”

Ok. Tick-tock, time’s a’wasting.

To his credit, Metaxas did show some skepticism, but why give this fraud another platform to spew false prophecy?

Who listening to this part of Metaxas’ show may have grabbed on to this “prophecy,” and will now distract themselves by waiting for this thing to come to pass, believing it to be a word from God, and will miss those things God truly needs for them to devote their attention and efforts to?

Taylor went on to answer the host’s concerns by reiterating that he knows these things will come to be.

He wasn’t done. His next move was to bring up the 2012 presidential election and claim Obama was illegitimately elected.

“Did Obama really get re-elected or didn’t he?” asked Taylor. “Because that’s another thing that God showed me was that he did not get re-elected. It was actually in fact a stolen second term.”

“In other words, the voter fraud. He was not elected to a second term … If they would go back and do an investigation, they would find out that he was in fact a fraud. He was not supposed to be the president for a second term.”

Taylor went on to claim that Democrats “have been stealing the elections for decades,” adding that “this is the stuff that the Lord has shown me.”

God does not care about our politics.

Metaxas [rightly] pointed out the problem of making such claims without evidence.

“There’s been a real cynicism on the parts of many people. If they lose the election they say its hacked. If [they] lose tomorrow, the Democrats are going to say ‘it was hacked,’ whatever the heck that means,” Metaxas replied. “And so, there’s this constant back-and-forth, all of which is unhealthy.”

And that’s true, but it happens, because of the flesh nature of humanity.

What we know today is that there are recounts going on in several states, so some races are still in limbo.

That being said, they are few, and neither outcomes will make the “red tsunami” Taylor promised his followers happen.

Metaxas apparently found himself in a position to have to defend having such a fraud on his program.

“I believe in the prophetic. The question is in the details, because I have heard prophets speak who they’ve been right on, but then they’ll say something that’s wrong or whatever and I get very angry,” added Metaxas. “You’ve got to be very careful.”

Hey, I believe in the prophetic, myself. I believe in all the gifts of the Spirit, including some of the things other Christians may be skeptical of, like speaking in tongues.

I’m Pentecostal Holiness, ok?

But in all things, for the Christian believer, no matter the denomination, we must use discernment, and we do not hang our hopes on someone who has proven to be fraudulent.

Hebrews 5:14 (NASB) – “14 But solid food is for the mature, who because of practice have their senses trained to discern good and evil.”

Mark Taylor is no prophet. He’s an internet troll, at best, and a time is coming where he will have to answer for how he has attempted to use God for his own profit.
