It’s so perverse to see people on the left, who know damn well that this film is politically (and philosophically and morally) controversial, insist that the film “has no message, means nothing.” It’s as disingenuous as Chicago-born-and-raised Hillary Clinton putting on a Yankee cap and declaring “the fact is, I’ve always been a Yankee fan!”
You know…she said it, so it must be true. And if your reason tells you something different, then your reasoning must be faulty, because…she SAID that she has always been a Yankee fan! Case closed, moron!
So it is with this film, Million Dollar baby. The NY Times loves it. The Culture of Death on the left LOVES it. But…it’s not political, it doesn’t mean anything, and if your reason tells you different, well, you’re reasoning is faulty, because…they SAID there is nothing political, no agenda, no advocacy, no message to the movie, you mouth-breathing, right-winged morons!
It’s DEEP…but MEANINGLESS. Got that? Puzzled?
A couple of weeks ago I was puzzled, too. Or not really puzzled, just…you know. Annoyed.
James Bowman at the Spectator is annoyed, too.
Because reason simply doesn’t buy this crapola they’re handing out.
