Although I am ill – very ill, oh, so dreadfully ill, with my sore throat and my hot toddies rendering me incoherent, after reading Lorie’s post at Polipundit.com, via LGF, I just HAD to inform you guys that there is yet another book to be written in my planned series called DemoBRATS: Staggering Stories of Surpassing Silliness

DemoBRATS, Book 5: Hypothetical Hinchey’s Hysterical Hints of Hate
Wherein we discover yet another
duly-elected DemoBratic Congressman in want of maturing, discretion or statesmanship. Rep. Hinchey, hosting a forum on Social Security, tries to divert attention the fact that he and his party bring no ideas to the issue of Social Security reform by accusing the evil genius Boy Rove (see DemoBrats, Book Three: Boys and Babblers) of trying to divert attention from President Bush’s ANG records, by providing CBS with fake – not forged, but FAKE – documents. This is called PROJECTION, when someone accuses another of doing what they, themselves would do. When asked if he had evidence for such a charge, Hypothetical Hinchey channels Eason Jordan, first saying yes, then saying no. “It’s my opinion,” he sniffs. When asked if making such a charge without evidence is irresponsible, Hypothetical Hinchey pugnaciously proclaims, “No…I think it’s very important to make charges like that.” So, there you have it. DemoBRAT in elected office thinks making unsubstantiated charges against the President of the United States and his advisers is “very important.”

UPDATE: Powerline’s Hindrocket is also on the case! As is Roger L. Simon. Perhaps a little blogswarm is brewing as via Daily Pundit you can listen to the “audio, a freaking audio,” here.

UPDATE II: I’m wrong! Looks ilke there is going to be a BIG Blogswarm on this, after all! Ms. Malkin reports that Charles Johnson of LGF is seeing a threefold jump in traffic from this story and that MSNBC’s new show Connected Coast to Coast, with Monica Crowley and Boy Reagan (See Book 3) had Johnson on as a guest. Boy Reagan, predictably, actually gives credence to Hinchey’s charges; he would, considering he and Boy Matthews believed that the heartfelt hug between women at the SOTU address was a Karl Rovian conceived manipulation. Crowley, suggested that Boy Reagan might want to consider that CBS did, in fact, simply screw up.
