What a crummy former president

What a crummy former president 2017-03-17T20:47:57+00:00

I’m sorry but it’s completely unseemly for a former American President to go to another country and say, “boy we in America sure wish we were as great as you!”

The UK’s government, economy, etc is the envy of America?.

Former U.S. President Bill Clinton said on Tuesday that Britain’s economy, environmental policy and attempts at modernization were envied in the United States, where comparable policies under President George W. Bush were lacking.

Speaking to a packed audience at London’s Guildhall, Clinton specifically responded to criticisms that British Prime Minister Tony Blair and his Labour party were “long in the tooth,” or past their prime.

“If you live where I live and you look across the Atlantic, it does not look that way,” he said.

Uh-heuk, uh-heuk, a chuckle-heuk. While he was in office, this man was extended every courtesy by his predecessor – who never publicly criticised him or his policies in public. And he’s been extended every courtesy by his successor, too. But he has no courtesy to extend. What a picayune, small and pathetic man – what a complicated captive of his own troubled heart.

Oh, and terrorism and Islamofascism – which were never big on the Clintonian radar – are NOT the biggest threats we face, according to Bill.

The more things chance, the more he remains the same.

Meanwhile, Shiloh sends a couple of stories along which suggest that there is much going on in the UK that is unenviable.
