Podcast; Office for the Dead (for Iran)

Podcast; Office for the Dead (for Iran) 2017-03-13T19:28:18+00:00

As I explain in the podcast, after turning alternative media for lack of MSM coverage, and reading tons of material on Iran, and listening to the president’s remarks, and reading Twittered Tweets from people in Iran trying to get information and images out of that country, I was already inclined to pray for the people of Iran. Then, after seeing a few horrific videos, and one awful picture (very graphic, you are warned), I have decided to pray the Office for the Dead, for those losing their lives in their struggle for freedom.

The Podcast is here, and it’s chanted, so…you’re warned about that, too.

Last September 11, I podcasted Morning Prayer for the Office of the Dead, also chanted, and you can find that here, if you want to use it in the morning.

Or, you know, you can pray the Office for the Dead anytime you are remembering a loved one, who has passed. Maybe I’ll link them in the sidebar for people to just use when they want.

You know what just occurred to me? All through George Bush’s presidency, people from the Clinton administration were constantly looked to – by the MSM – for quotes and opinions on just about every news story. I don’t think I’ve seen much of that happening with this administration. Aside from the Clinton folk who are working within the new administration, the rest seem mostly kept at bay, and the media certainly is not going to ask former Bushies for their opinion about anything. Just noticed it, is all.
