Final Semesters and Apocalypses

Final Semesters and Apocalypses

I have now officially started my final, full semester of my M.Div. and Th.M. Yes folks, that’s right, the masters-level phase of my education is nearing its end. Crazy right? In addition to some of my required M.Div classes, I am taking a doctoral-level seminar with Dr. Craig Keener on the Book of Revelation, or (for the biblical studies nerds like myself), the Apocalypse of John. I am super-excited about this course, not only because it is a great class to end my masters-studies on, but also because I get to work closely with one of the world’s foremost experts on the New Testament and Greco-Roman background sources. Hopefully some future posts will come out of my time spent in the course, but until then, I thought I’d share a great pair of introductory videos on the most misunderstood book of the New Testament. It is from The Bible Project, one of the best ministries operating right now (in my opinion). Enjoy!

P.S. – If you watch the videos (or have read Revelation) you’ll understand why I chose a lamb as the thumbnail image for this post.
