The Day of the Lord

My apologies up front to readers of this blog. This past week has been incredibly busy for me, what with final assignments, family coming to visit, and all the other things that life throws at you. As such it has been a whole week since I last posted anything. Never fear though, I am back (at least for this week).

If you have been keeping up with my posts, then you will know that I am huge fan of the work done by the awesome people at The Bible Project. In addition to the fantastic videos and resources they produce to help teach and illustrate God’s story in Scripture, they also produce what I think is one the best podcasts on the Bible currently available. The current series of podcasts have been diving deep into the biblical concept of the Yom Yahweh, or the Day of the Lord.

The podcasts act as a way to dive deeper into this biblical concept of the ultimate day of God’s judgment against evil and injustice. They work best when paired with the recent video on the Day of the Lord. So, if you’ve ever wandered what exactly is going on with this particular topic, I couldn’t recommend a better place to start than with the Bible Project’s content!
